We are SO excited for the first-ever Waukee Elementary Staff Car Parade this Friday, April 3rd! Waukee Elementary Staff will be in their cars parading through our school neighborhoods to spread joy and give love to students and families by honking and waving from a safe distance! Our parade route is attached below in two parts, due to the distance we cover north to south. (Please be sure to view both photos.) You will notice that the route travels to all parts of the Waukee Elementary boundary, but does not cover every street/house. If the parade doesn’t pass directly by your home, we hope you are able to make it to a nearby location along the route to watch. Please do be mindful of social distancing from others. Thank you! The parade begins at 9:00am leaving from Waukee Elementary headed west on Northview Drive. While exact times are hard to predict, we believe it will take around 1.5 hours to complete the route. We would love to see lots of WE students and families smiling and waving back from driveways, porches, and sidewalks! Can't wait to see you at the parade! #WEareFamily50263 #WEare50263
